PELERIN Merlot is a wine produced from the 2016 harvest, with a sensational dark purple-red color, intense and bright, exuding strong aromas of ripe cherries, accompanied by notes of chocolate and spices, creating a particularly striking complexity. On the palate, this wine is round and full-bodied, with well-integrated tannins and a long finish.
Aged for 24 months in oak barrels, PELERIN Merlot is a dry wine with a high alcohol content of 14.5%, with a dense and rich texture that intensifies the notes of black fruits and spices.
It is recommended to pair it with beef, goose, or game dishes due to its strong masculine character, but it also goes perfectly with pasta, mature cheeses, or even raw fish (sushi).
The ideal serving temperature is 18°C to bring out all its aromas and complexity.
